Oh Gallipoli, you took the youth that I never tasted
Stabbed last letters in the shores of Anzac Cove
Broke my promises home, out here we won’t make it
Cause one look out of the trench we’re already wasted!
First one to fall was the first one I aimed
This is the shore where the flesh meets the blade
There’s no time to reload, there’s no time to fall back
It’s machine guns against bayonets
Kemal told his men there’s no line it’s the sight
Defend till you die our friends just may arrive
Al rushing down under men each one daring as ten
Not the cause but the Turks were worth to fight
War!
Down under men goes to war
Where Turks dare to die for their soil
It’s machine guns against bayonets
