First Wave of Black Metal
oyum en büyük fanlarından biri olduğum Celtic Frost'un
Black metal hakkında derin bilgim yok.Ama celtic frost'un sadece black metal olarak geçmesine karşıyım.Thrash elementleri bile bulunur içinde daha extreme bi müzik yapar.Black ve death gruplarını etkilemiş gothic türünün yaratılmasında ön ayak olmuştur.Bu yüzden ben sadece black metal olmadığından yanayım
evet bu ankette bathory dışında hiçbir grup black metal grubu değildir ama black metalin ortaya çıkışında etkileri çok fazla olduğu için bu 4 gruba first wave of black metal grubu deniyor
her grubun katkısı büyüktür ama benim için Venom bir başkadır

Vocal Style
Mostly high pitched rasps and guttural growls that are completely intelligible. If you look at the lyrics sheets many have pagan or satanic themes. Many vocalist try to sound like a demon or something straight out of hell.
Pioneers
Venom
Venom formed in England in the late '70s and consisted of Cronos, Mantas and Abaddon. Their debut album Welcome To Hell was released in 1981 and followed a year later by the album that gave the genre its name, Black Metal.
Mayhem
The Norwegian band is famous because of their music, and infamous because of everything else that went on around them. Vocalist Dead committed suicide and Euronymous was stabbed to death by fellow band member Count Grishnackh. Formed in 1984, they were at the forefront of the increasingly popularity of black metal in Norway.

During the 1980s, certain thrash metal bands established a prototype for black metal. This so-called First Wave included bands such as Venom, Bathory, Hellhammer and Celtic Frost.[1] A Second Wave emerged in the early 1990s, which consisted primarily of Norwegian bands such as Mayhem, Burzum, Darkthrone, Immortal and Emperor. This scene developed the black metal style into a distinct genre.
Black metal has been met with considerable hostility from mainstream culture, mainly due to the misanthropic and anti-Christian ideology of many artists. Additionally, some musicians have been associated with church burnings, murder and/or National Socialism. For these reasons and others, black metal is often viewed as an underground form of music.
